How quickly would the patient be seen if the problem is urgent?
Within 24 to 48 hours.
How do I know you will send my patient to the appropriate specialist?
The information we have includes the individual Consultant's special interests.
What is the criteria for granting practising privileges for specialists at your hospitals?
Doctors who work within HCA have to have held or hold a substantive NHS post. They must provide extensive documentation, proof of qualification, speciality and insurance cover. HCA has an accreditation process to ensure information is current and the hospitals Medical Advisory Committees approve all applications.
